Engaging the herd

Today was the first HCL Master call this year. It felt so good to be amongst those people again after 1 year of not being an IBM Champion / HCL Master. Thanks again to all who found myself being trustworthy enough to be a part of this again!

In this call we also enjoyed some insights from Thomas Hampel and also Theo Heselmans, who emphasized on the upcoming Engage conference in March. The deadline for session abstracts is January 17, so hurry up! There will be no additional time this year!

I already have some ideas for sessions that I would like to send but on this way I would like to ask you, the experts, if you want to team up with me and do a co-session. Last time I had the pleasure doing a session with my Czech friend Jan about Node and Domino - which went so fluently during the planning phase and also during the event.

This time I am using the opportunity again and I invite you to co-op with me on one or more of the following topics I consider to cover:

  • HCL Volt Dev
  • HCL Nomad Dev
  • DQL next, what's new
  • App Dev Pack (Devops) - what does it mean?
  • Notes 11 (Enduser) - anything new?

The details are TBD, and I really want YOU to join! This may be a great chance to speak at this marvelous event especially if you didn't speak before - it's so much fun!

Did you attend Engage before? Great - just repeat the good time! If not: you MUST attend. It's the most incredible user group meetup in Europe!

I will send abstracts anyway, so please get in touch with me if you want to join - but be quick!

You can use Twitter, Slack or EMail to contact me (or any other social media platform where you might find me).

Thanks for the kind words regarding Engage.

I love seeing people work together to come up with a great presentation, and embracing newbies is cool.

And you certainly deserve to be a HCL Master!
